A nice, big room in a nice, big house with nice people of various sizes

The room for rent is a large bedroom (17' x 10') with walk in closet (3.5' x 5.5') and three large, eastern facing windows in a Ft. Greene brownstone. It includes an air-conditioner and can come semi-furnished or unfurnished. The VERY large bathroom is shared with one other bedroom and includes a bidet, shower, two sinks, and lots of storage. We're preferably looking a couple for the room, but are open to solo riders. The couple's rate is $1800 per month + utilities (about $50-$125 per month, winter months are more b/c of heating) + 1 month deposit. the solo rider rate is $1425 a month.

The room is on the second floor of a big three-story brownstone with washer/dryer in unit and two-and-a-half bathrooms (one on each floor). The first floor is HUGE and has a shared living room w/ giant projector screen, dining room w/ working fireplace, and eat-in kitchen with dishwasher and appliances. Also there's a porch + a grille + indoor bike storage.

The room is for a one-year lease. The start date is flexible, looking for someone to move in July (+ or - a couple of weeks).

Four wonderful roommates (one on the same floor, three on the floor above) who have lived in the house for three years. A mix of close friends (fellas and ladies), all in their late 20s, all have 9 to 5's, everyone is usually around on the weekends.  Ideal if you freelance or work from home because you'll have a giant, empty house to yourself all day. It's a social house - we love to have friends over for dinners, movies etc - but there is lots of privacy because all the bedrooms are upstairs.

Beautiful neighborhood, close to BAM, Barclays Center, Ft. Greene Park, restaurants on Dekalb and Fulton, gyms, bodegas, grocery stores, coffee places, and this one creepy doll store I wouldn't recommend.

Located in Ft. Greene on Adelphi and Greene, G train at Clinton-Washington or Fulton + C train at Lafayette + 2,3,4,5,N,Q,R,B,D and LIRR at Atlantic - Barclays Center stop
